Fr. Stephen D. Ryan, O.P.
Fr. Ryan was born in Boston and entered the novitiate of the Dominican Province of St. Joseph in 1987 after completing an M.A. in Biblical Studies at Providence College. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1993 and is currently serving as an Associate Professor of Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies. In addition to teaching on the Pontifical Faculty, Fr. Ryan preaches and gives adult education lectures in parishes in the Washington area and has offered continuing education courses through the Smithsonian Associates and the Education • Parish • Service program at Trinity College.
